Louise P. (Moore) Morrison, 81, of Parker, PA., passed away Wednesday at the Clarview Nursing Home in Sligo, Pa. Born in West Monterey, PA., on February 28, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Lee and Mildred Brothers Slaughenhoupt. Louise was employed with various organizations through out her lifetime as well as a former officer with the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW in Parker. She was an avid sports fan and was always rooting for the Steelers and Pirates. Louise was very active even into her golden years bowling and playing bingo. She is survived by Three sons: Jack (Susan) Moore of Parker, PA: Robert (Frances) Moore of Butler, PA; and Greg (Kelly) Slagle of Olean, NY. One daughter in-law Colleen Moore of Randall, MN. Twelve Grandchildren, Thirteen Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Hubert Moore and William Slagle. One son: Wayne Moore of Randall, MN. One sister: June Westbrook Four brothers: Harold Slaughenhoupt; James Slaughenhoupt; William Slaughenhoupt and Arthur Slaughenhoupt. Friends will be received on Friday the 23rd at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home (201 S. Wayne St.) Parker, PA., from 2-4 & 7-9PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday the 24th at 11AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard D. Anschutz of the Parker Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in the Parker Presbyterian Cemetery.
