Funeral services for Mrs. Myrl Kathleen Hazelton will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in Lake Cove Baptist Church with Reverend Ervin Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in McCormick Cemetery, Turkey Creek under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mrs. Hazelton, 72, of Crooked Creek Community entered eternal rest on Monday, March 19, 2012 in Savoy Medical Center, Mamou.

Myrl was a longtime member of Lake Cove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Murphy Campbell. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of fifty-one years, Nolan Hazelton of Crooked Creek Community; two daughters, Renee Robichaux and her husband, Kirk of Sunset and Paula Courville and her husband, Artie of Mamou; her mother, Elsie Campbell of Crooked Creek Community; one brother, Jimmy Campbell of Crooked Creek Community and six grandchildren, Katie, Jamison, Courtney, Chip, Kyle and Paige.

Friends may call at Lake Cove Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m.
