Ola Mae Boulware Ball

Ola Mae Boulware Ball, 85, of Paris, Missouri passed away at the Monroe Manor Nursing Home in Paris, on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.

Mrs. Ball was born on March 3, 1927 in Paris, Missouri, the daughter of William W. & Nannie Jackson Snell. She was married to Paul Boulware on August 25, 1946 in Paris, MO. He predeceased her on August 4, 1979. She later married Ted Ball on July 26, 1981 and he survives at the home.

Mrs. Ball is survived by two daughters, Kathie & Bob Bierly, of Paris, Nancy & Jimmy Wheaton of Paris, & 1 son, Randy & Debbie Boulware of Paris, eight grandchildren, Doug Bierly, Tammy (Chuck) Mason, Victoria (Jeff) Cupp, Amanda (Ryan) Tuma, David (Rachel) Bierly, Sara Patience Boulware, Emily (David) Young, & Paula (Matt) Bross, Great-grandchildren, Ali Morgan, Devyn Pulliam, Chelsea and Andrew A.Young, Brett and Kendall Mason, Mollie and Elizabeth Cupp, Cody and Abbi Tuma, Logan, Dawson, and Autumn Bross, and Jackson and Hattie Bierly, great-great grandchildren, Chloe Cockrell and Bethany Mae Levings, three step daughters,five step grandsons, four step great grandchildren. One sister-in-law, Ruth Boulware, of Mexico, she was preceded in death by a half brother Carl Snell.

Mrs. Ball was a member of the First Christian Church of Paris where she served as an elder. She was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. She worked as a bookkeeper for Farm Bureau Insurance in Paris, and received the secretary of the year award from Farm Bureau. She retired after working 25 years as a secretary/bookkeeper at the Monroe County Co-op.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the First Christian Church in Paris, Mo with Reverend Donna Scott officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m., until time of service. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Paris, MO. Agnew Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
