Sarah Lucille Coltrin, 82 of Centralia, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia. Mrs. Coltrin was born February 11, 1930 in Washington County, daughter of Louis M. Knox and Hester E. [French] Knox. She married Gerald Coltrin on July 15, 1967 in Centralia and he preceded her in death in 2009. She is survived by a son, David Knox and significant other Deb Claypool of Centralia; a grandson Matthew Knox and wife Ashley of Glen Carbon; four nephews; Don Kottkamp of Coral Gables, Fl, Wayne Knox and wife Beverly of San Antonio, TX, Jim Knox and wife Sue of Ft. Mead, FL, Jerry Knox and wife Jan of Owosso, MI; a niece Sharon Rucker and husband Phillip of Arcadia, FL, a sister-in-law Betty Wilson of Okeechobee, FL; and a very special friend and cousin Nona Eller of Jefferson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, James Knox and Mervin French; a sister Aline Kottkamp and a brother-in-law Chris Kottkamp. She worked at Warren G. Murray Center as an LPN and Supervisor for 28 years and retired in 1992. She was a loyal AFSCME Retirees Sub-Chapter 85 member. Private Family Funeral Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the House of Hope Animal Shelter and will be received at Hillcrest Funeral Home and Cremation Center, in Centralia, which is in charge of arrangements.
