Life Legacy

Huey journey started  when Huey "Josh" Burrell was born to the late Ramon Burrell and Lee Ellen Davis on November 23, 1928 in Postelle, Arkansas. He was the oldest of seven children and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Huey lived most of his life in Chicago. He later relocated to Marvell, Arkansas twenty or more years ago. Many of these years  he lived with a very special friend Mrs. Annie Owens whom we all loved.

Huey is survived by two daughters Almita Burrell of Kinwood, TX and Patricia Nesby of Marvell, Arkansas. One son Nemon Burrell of Placentia, CA; One sister Emma Jean Gray of Memphis, TN; Four brothers Quince, Chester, Melvin (Vanessa), and Roy all of Chicago, ILL. Four grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, a special cousin Montenier Thornton of Minneapolis, MN and a host of aunts, uncle, neices, and nephews who will miss him dearly.
