Aselman-Helfrich, Viola L. (nee Sprock), of Anderson, Indiana, formerly of High Ridge, Missouri, was born November 25, 1919, in High Ridge, Missouri to John Sprock and Clara L. (nee Delbruegge) Sprock, and entered into rest, Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Manor Care Health Services in Anderson, Indiana, at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 27 days.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward C. Aselman, Sr., three (3) siblings, Eugene Sprock, Norman Sprock and Dorothy Smith
She is survived by two (2) children Edward C. (Trudy E.) Aselman, Jr., of Anderson, Indiana, and Ruby Gean Ingram, of High Ridge, Missouri, five (5) grandchildren, Edward C. Aselman, III, Chris Duncan, Shawn Ingram, Chad Ingram and Jonathen Ingram, one (1) great grandchild, Casey Duncan, three (3) siblings, Clara (Charles) Gansner, of High Ridge, Missouri, John L. Sprock, of Auvasse, Missouri and Rose Hill, of High Ridge, Missouri, and many other relatives and friends.
Viola was a member of St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church. She enjoyed Polka dancing. She also liked crafts and working with her hands. She is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation Tuesday, October 25, 2011 and Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Mass Thursday, October 27, 2011 at St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church, 3009 High Ridge Blvd., High Ridge, Missouri. Interment at CHAPEL HILL MEMORIAL GARDENS, Cedar Hill, Missouri.
