WILLIAM E. "Bill" AMSLER, 50, of Irmo (Columbia) SC, formerly of Parker, Pa. passed away Friday (08-12-11) at his residence of natural causes. Born in Butler, Pa., on March 24, 1961, he was the son of Jaunita Greenert Amsler-Kriebel of Parker and the late Robert E. Amsler. Bill graduated from Allegehny-Clarion Valley School Dist. in 1979, and had trained by Clarion Co. Vo-Tech in food processing management. Following a career for a number of years in food service, he began a new venture of employment with Verizon. At the time of his death, he had been employed for eleven years as a special project co-ordinating manager with Verizon. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Jaunita and Claude Kriebel of Parker, his partner, Clint Clayborne of Irmo, SC, one sister: Tina E. Amsler of Parker; three brothers: Robert E. (Bobby) Amsler, DuWayne (Bud) and wife Paige Amsler, and Richard (Rick) and wife Jeannette Amsler, all of Parker; also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne Ave., Parker. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday in the funeral home. His remains will be returned to Irmo, SC for final inurnment.
