Allen J. Arseneault

U.S. Veteran

WORCESTER-Allen J. Arseneault, 93, passed away Monday, June 20. His wife of 56 years, Ellen A. (Horgan) Arseneault died in 1997. He leaves two sons, Richard Arseneault of Oxford and Jack Arseneault of Bernardsville, NJ; two daughters, Ellen Arseneault and Therese Sebring both of Chicopee; his brother, Joseph Arseneault of Ottawa, Canada; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Allen’s two sons, Allen and Stephen Arseneault predeceased him.

Allen was born in St. Isadore, New Brunswick, Canada the son of Mathias and Julie (Brison) Arseneault. Mr. Arseneault served proudly in the U.S. Army during WW II. Mr. Arseneault was a Worcester Firefighter serving at the Providence St. Station also known as “The Rock”. He was a lifelong member of St. Stephen’s Church and served as collector and later as a Eucharistic Minister. Mr. Arseneault was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Allen’s funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, June 28 at 10:00 AM at St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
