Margaret Alice "GiGi" England, 87, of Toledo, passed away on May 14, 2011, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo on December, 31, 1923 to Kenneth and Alice Mulkey.
Margaret was a 1941 graduate of Scott High School. She worked as an administrative assistant for Libbey Owens Ford for 25 years before retiring in 1984. In her spare time Margaret enjoyed baking and cooking as well as dancing and spending time with friends and family. She also loved collecting Nutcrackers, playing Bunco and her lunches with the "Scott Girls." Margaret had an amazing eye for decorating, took great pride in her home and was a notorious list-maker. She will be lovingly remembered as a spunky and feisty woman.
Her parents and step-father, Carl Schaumburg, preceded her in death. She will be dearly missed by her son, Michael W. England; granddaughters, Kimberly (Steve) Rutkowski and Dawn (David) Scurlock; great-grandchildren, Zach, Nick and Molly Rutkowski and Kaitlyn and Ryan Scurlock.
Friends may visit at the Foth-Dorfmeyer Mortuary, on Wednesday, May 18th after 12:00 p.m. with funeral services to be held at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
