Brian Richard Abel
Brian Richard Abel died suddenly on March 6, 2011 in Philadelphia as the result of a train accident. He was 51.
Born and raised in the Whitewood Section of Levittown, he had resided in Philadelphia for the last 12 years.
He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Class of 1977.
In his earlier years, Brian was a pitcher for the Levittown Little League. In his later years he was active in distributing facing forms at Philadelphia Park until 1996 when be became confined to a wheelchair.
Brian is the beloved son of Elizabeth (Reitter) Abel of Philadelphia and the late John Frederick Abel, and brother of the late Stephen Francis Abel. He is also survived by his niece, Julie B. Abel, his aunt, Kathleen Abel, and several cousins. He was predeased by his father, brother and aunt, Margaret Dumin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Saturday, 11:00 am, in Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem.
