Charlotte Love Doll, age 80, Joplin, passed away at 12:43 a.m. Saturday, April 09, 2011 at St. John’s Regional Medical Center.
Charlotte was born October 24, 1930 in Joplin to the late Carve Brasher and Vernie Good Brasher and had lived in Joplin all of her life.
She worked at the Holiday Inn and Henry’s Fine Foods before she decided to join her husband and traveled with him all over the country. She enjoyed life by playing Bingo and spending time with her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Dale Doll on June 10, 2001.
Survivors include her children, Michael Roush and his wife, Annabell, Joplin, Jeffrey Roush, Joplin, Sheila Nash and her husband, Ronnie, Joplin, Rick Doll, Butler, Missouri; four grandchildren, Amanda Peacock, Eric Crane, Kimberly Scott, Joshua Doll; five great grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Stewart.
Charlotte was preceded in death by a son, Steven Gregory Roush; and several brothers and sisters, Cleo Brasher, Fred Brasher, Raymond ‘Pete’ Brasher, Lillian ‘Short’ Holden, Lena Guyll, Juanita Collins, Jean Treece, and Joyce Strickling.
Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Hargis, Fred Hatt, Randy Strickling, Glen Yarbrough, Jimmy Guyll and Joshua Doll. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Parker Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
