I had the honor as serving as president of the South Dakota Funeral Directors Association and enjoyed representing our state at the national level with the National Funeral Directors Association. I and my family were fortunate enough to be able to participate in some national conventions in Boston, New Orleans, Chicago, and Orlando.

We recently moved into the home in which I grew up. It is a great old house that my parent worked very hard to preserve.
