Welcome to the Briggs Funeral Home Web site. Briggs Funeral Home, a division of J. Briggs, Inc., is a family owned and operated business. They operate funeral homes in Denton, Candor and Troy, North Carolina and Rex Furniture Company in Denton. The company is owned by Jack & Joan Briggs and the home office is in Denton. They own & operate Mountain View Memorial Gardens, a perpetual care cemetery in Denton.

Briggs is a full service funeral home offering personal service by the owners family along with a very capable staff that have been with the firm for many years. The Briggs Family including son, Daniel also co-own and operate other funeral home companies in the Piedmont and Sandhill area’s of North Carolina. The also co-own a Crematory in Lexington, North Carolina that serves all their firms.
