We would like to share with you a short history about our family. George A. Jenkins and his wife, Annetta, established Jenkins Mortuary in 1915 on State Street in Murray, Utah. As the business developed, Vaughn Soffe (their son-in-law) joined them and eventually acquired his father-in-law’s interest—thus establishing the Jenkins-Soffe name. Since then, Vaughn’s two sons, Jaren and Gregg; grandsons, Kurt and Blake; in conjunction with other family members are carrying on the tradition of caring for families as did their father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. With the growth of the Salt Lake Valley and our continued commitment to those we serve, we have established another location on the original Soffe family homestead and farm in South Jordan, Utah.

We are proud of our heritage and value the honored traditions of the generations that have preceded us. Our personal experience coupled with our dedication to family and community create a sincere desire to assist families through life's transitions.
