Columbia Funeral Home is a family owned firm and has been since its beginning in 1907. It is now in its second generation ownership, currently owned and operated by Paul Lewis. Paul is the son of Wilbert Lewis, who owned and operated the business before him for over 40 years.


We are located close to the large Seattle Veterans Hospital allowing us to provide personal and efficient service to families of deceased veterans. In addition, we have our own on-site crematory to better serve those families that choose cremation. One special feature you will want to check on this web site is our online obituaries page. We post online obituaries with photo, at no charge, for all of our families. Anyone in the world who has Internet access can view the obituary, sign the online guest book and offer condolences. These messages will be posted on the obituary site.
