I am Monique Smoot and I have been serving Columbus and the surrounding communities through funeral service for more than 10 years. I was formerly with the J. Martin Smith Mortuary and I am the niece of Jacqueline Martin Smith (Jackie).

I was taught the funeral business and how to serve families as if they were my own by working side by side of my aunt Jackie and Mr. J.W. Ross.

Through all the grooming and tutorage of these great people and after their demise, I begin to truly commune with God. It was during that time (after a two year 'sabbatical' from the industry), I realized that it wasn't by chance that I came into the funeral business, but it was ordained by God and is a PURPOSE of my life to SERVE others!
